“SEO is all about grunt work”. Wrong. TL;DR : Use gumloop and other automation tools to automate all the grunt work of SEO. About ~3 week back, I started working on SEO as part of our acquisition strategy. We had already seen success with other channels — Google Workspace Marketplace, Product Hunt, and HubSpot Marketplace — achieving double-digit growth since we started experimenting there. Naturally, SEO seemed like the next logical step. 2 weeks into it — there was much more laborious work than I expected. We internally started experimenting with 3-4 different automation tools to automate all the grunt work and one tool, Gumloop stood out for us. Here are some things we are already building with Gumloop (YC W24) - all without any dev time. 1. Building content outline Flow: For a specific location (e.g., US), automate a web search for a set of keywords (e.g., “Google Sheets connector”) → scrape the top 5 results [-reddit, -forums] → extract their outlines + Google-suggested questions → pass the data to an AI model → generate a new outline that satisfies user intent. 2. Using AI for clustering keywords and optimise current content (Gumloop already have a template for it) 3. Building visual topical structure of all competitive website based on their sitemaps. 4. Identifying the keywords and locations where our competitors are running ads. Flow : Input all target locations and keywords into Google Sheets → scrape top sponsored results in these countries → generate a list of competitor ads. There are still so many things you can automate with it. If you have new ideas or want to explore ours, feel free to connect. P.S : We still write content manually because that’s the one step humans should do. ------------- While Gumloop is a great tool for combining different automation agents, Superjoin can help you automate your entire spreadsheet workflow. Check us out—I’m sure growth teams will love it. #imhkalra #seo

    Building Gumloop - YC W24 - Ex-Microsoft

An intern's summer project at a Y Combinator unicorn was to add internal links across their 800+ blog posts She did it in 1 day with Claude 3.5 Sonnet (and got a return offer 🎉) This Gumloop flow: - Reads every blog one at a time. - Spots thousands of chances to link content together based on the context of each post. - Writes each linking opportunity into a google sheet (with an explanation of each link and why it's useful). Learning how to combine AI tooling with a unique expertise is the key pattern we continue to see across our most successful users. AI is making people who are great at their jobs even better.

    Building Gumloop - YC W24 - Ex-Microsoft

Our friend in the current Y Combinator batch used LLMs to 3x their organic web traffic this month Claude 3.5 + Semrush data + web scraping + Google search is truly magic ✨ This AI automation now: - Reads a blog & picks 30 strong keywords to investigate - Uses Semrush data to spot easy targets (high traffic, low-mid difficulty) - Searches each keyword and scrapes results, analyzing trends to mimic - Writes detailed analysis of best keywords to target in Notion This entire flow took under 1.5 hours to cobble together on Gumloop. They now have a totally custom AI tool they use daily.

    Building Gumloop - YC W24 - Ex-Microsoft

A Y Combinator startup we met got 2.4k applications to their open developer position and wanted AI to help spot the best candidates It took 30 minutes to build the complete automation Now they can drop in a Zip file of applications and specify their criteria as a point form list. AI (Claude 3.5 Sonnet + GPT4o) will: -Check the candidates GitHub activity to see how active they are -Count the number of criteria they meet -Sort all candidates in a Google sheet All resumes are still reviewed manually but they're able to start with the most promising ones first and shorten their hiring cycle. This automation is also reusable for any role they have in the future, all they need to do is type up new criteria! The automation was built with Gumloop (YC W24), I'll put the complete flow in the comments.
