Calling all Engineers-in-Training! Did you know that we are accredited employer certified with Engineers and Geoscientists BC? LMDG is proud to have been included in this program, which certifies that we offer a work environment that allows EITs to satisfy the experience requirements when applying for their Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation. It streamlines the processing and evaluation of applicants seeking professional registration. As a certified employer, we have developed an EIT training program that has been accredited by Engineers and Geoscientists BC.

You love what you do, but did 'little you' know your job even existed? We asked our team how they would describe their job to a 3-year-old, and we loved their answers! Some included: - I'm like a lawyer, but for buildings 🏛️⚖️ - We're firefighters before the fire 🚒🔥 - I help make sure when buildings are made they follow the rules 🏗️✅ - I help make buildings safe and have enough toilets 🚽 In fact, we loved them so much that we wanted to ask all of you, too! This month's case study takes a deeper dive into the design and construction of the Toronto Catholic District School Board Baycrest Avenue Elementary School - a contemporary design for a modern school that will bring a breath of fresh air to the neighbourhood. We're excited to be working with DTAH on this exciting project! We have been working diligently on the our review of this project to achieve compliance with the Ontario Building Code and Ontario Fire Code standards. We're so honoured to be the title sponsor for the annual Kristian Domingo Foundation Strength in Hope Golf Tournament. This year's tournament was held on August 7th and had a great turnout! A big shoutout to everyone who supported the event - thank you! The Kristian Domingo Foundation was established by the Domingo family shortly after Kristian's passing to preserve his memory. It is a nonprofit organization aimed to provide meaningful opportunities to young individuals through financial support to help them pursue their dreams and assist institutions that were an important part of Kristian's life. Some of these institutions include the BC Cancer, Canuck Place Children's Hospice and D2D Destiny Foundation
