The Ontario Nonprofit Network (ONN) is a vibrant network for the 58,000 nonprofits in Ontario. We engage, advocate, and lead with - and for - nonprofits working for the public benefit in Ontario. We work together to create a better public policy environment; one that strengthens nonprofits so we can do more to build thriving communities. At the ONN we activate nonprofits, convening and engaging organizations, leaders, and stakeholders to tackle cross-cutting issues at a sector-wide level. Our efforts are bringing the voices of the sector to policy- and decision-makers.

It’s a myth that compensation is just about a paycheck. By embracing a total compensation approach, nonprofits can integrate elements like wellness programs, flexible schedules, and transit subsidies, to name a few, into offerings for workers. While this isn’t the norm yet, it’s a crucial step toward advancing #DecentWork, improving wellness of workers, and helping nonprofits recruit and retain staff. This video was created as a resource resulting from our Labour Force Strategy project. Stay tuned for more videos, and reports on the learnings from this work. https://lnkd.in/g8QR4bap
