Ashley Mar: a shining example of what can be accomplished when the public and private sectors work together to address the global housing supply crisis. In 2022 Oxford, alongside our partners Intracorp Homes, proudly began construction on Ashley Mar in Vancouver – one of North America’s largest-ever co-op housing renewal projects. Supported by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) Société canadienne d'hypothèques et de logement(SCHL), Ashley Mar will deliver 649 high-quality apartment units to critically undersupplied South Vancouver – including the transformation of 54 aging co-op units into 125 brand new co-op units. With more than $3B invested in the Canadian residential sector, Oxford is committed to addressing housing supply issues across Canada. The Honourable Harjit Sajjan, Minister of Emergency Preparedness and MP for Vancouver South, recently visited Ashley Mar to announce more than $197.2 million in funding through the Affordable Housing Fund to help build and repair similar affordable housing projects across Vancouver. Together, we’re strengthening our economy and communities through real estate.
