Porter is adding more than 10% passenger capacity to Thunder Bay International Airports Authority Inc with the introduction of service from Greater Toronto Airports Authority. Service begins October 16, with three roundtrips per week operated on the Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. Porter has been serving the Thunder Bay community since 2009, currently with up to five times daily roundtrip flights between Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, and twice daily flights between Ottawa using the Dash 8-400 aircraft.
