Spencer Rickel, our Field Deployment Specialist attended the Dutch Grower Tour to discuss Vivid Machines' approach to computer vision and crop load estimation, while also learning about different management styles and practices from various regions. The purpose of the tour was to educate young Dutch farmers and Dutch companies about the tree fruit landscape in Washington State and to foster relationships for future collaboration. We had an amazing lunch at the beautiful Milton Cidery with Rachael LeBlanc from Vineland Research and Innovation Centre as part of La Grande Tournée Pomicole, hosted by IRDA and Les producteurs de pommes du Québec. It was a fantastic opportunity to network and connect with agriculture industry professionals. Looking forward to more events like this summer!

We're excited to share our experience at the #GreatAppleTour 2024, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Quebec Apple Producers and the Canadian Apple Committee meeting in Quebec. On July 17th and 18th, we joined industry stakeholders in Montérégie for insightful presentations, workshops, and demonstrations. Our CEO Jenny Lemieux presented and demoed our XV3 smart spectral sensor system for producers, agronomists, and researchers. A demonstration of #automation and #agrobotics hosted by Ag Robotics Working Group attracted over 150 fruit and vegetable growers to the Ontario Crops Research Centre in Simcoe last Thursday. Vivid Team members Hannah Nascimento & Ashley Hussey showcased the XV3, our latest cutting-edge multi-spectral camera. This innovative technology, mountable on tractors, provides real-time data for crop thinning, yield increase, and task mapping, empowering growers to make informed decisions throughout the growing season.
