Since 2010, our partnership with Bridges to Prosperity has helped improve nearly 60,000 lives by creating vital access routes with18 bridges throughout Bolivia, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, and Rwanda. Soon, three new teams will depart for Rwanda to construct trail bridges in isolated regions. These bridges will ensure safe, year-round access to work, school, and healthcare. A day of smooth sailing at a recent dragon boat race in Hong Kong for our WSP in Asia team. For the 12th consecutive year, we partnered with rowers with intellectual disabilities from the Neighborhood Advice-Action Council (NAAC). This event was a fantastic way to connect with the community and build camaraderie while dragon boating—an ancient sport with modern excitement! A big thank you to the hau kāinga (local representatives) for recently welcoming our WSP in New Zealand team to Te Papa-o-Rotu Marae - a sacred place where Maori culture and traditions are expressed. Here we were able to team build within a cultural setting recognizing protocols and customs and benefitting from the connections made with mana whenua (local Māori). We had a great time participating in cultural practices such as waka (canoe) sailing and Māori/ Polynesian celestial navigation. #WeAreWSP #LifeAtWSP
