I've worked in customer service and sales for the better part of a decade, along with administrative and billing positions within multiple organizations. I typically have more than one thing on the go and strive to absorb as much up-to-date information in the fields I occupy.
My work has developed over the years with the exposure to so many different cultural environments and I find myself drawn to high-paced work where I get to engage with people on a daily basis.

Struggling to manage your time during presentations?
A method I like to use in practice is staying away from a script and instead hold a concept in mind. I'll place que cards with single words or short sentences in front of me (on a podium) related to the flow of topics I'll be discussing. I forgo stressing over delivering exact lines/phrasing and instead develop my ability to talk about the topic overall. This helps me avoid those "blank" pitfall moments, and instead allows me to to be flexible and spontanious while maintaining my message in front of a crowd.

You can also create small moments throughout the day to help. A quick neck stretch when you're standing up to grab a cup of tea, or two minutes of box breathing before handling a ticket that's causing you major frustration or confusion. Taking a moment to disengage, breathe, and refocus before you re-enage can release built up tension that you will experience throughout the day. It's the mountain of small actions that can make a bigger difference than any weekend or holiday.

How can customer service professionals adapt to new technologies?
Follow the social media accounts of every leading customer service products provider (think of Monaris for your POS system or Salesforce for your CRM). You'll catch the announcements on LinkedIn long before your company admin introduces any new technology to the company, giving you some time to explore and play with tech you may need to utilize in the future.

How can you keep data entry tasks organized and easily accessible?
Having the software and technical expertise is always a plus; however, there is a principle to abide by that helps you utilize those tools in the most effective way. Have a process, stick to it, and if the process doesn't serve you, tweak it till it does. The more you waver on process, the greater your chance of falling off track. Collecting tools, before developing a process can turn you into a half-baked horder with very little consistent success.
