How do you leverage social media for sourcing candidates?
Additionally, Recruiters and Sourcers who share only links to open jobs rarely see engagement. Instead, consider sharing targeted, relevant content that directly benefits your target audience. For example, when I recruited for Clinical Dietitians, 90% of my social content related to updates and information that could add value to their daily work. Only on a rare occasion would I share the direct link to the any open role. This model worked well. As Dietitians began to view my profile as a trusted source of info, they also began to inquire about jobs. Inbound for the win! The content-centric strategy was so successful that my recruiting team agreed we should pool our efforts and share similar content across all of our social networks.
