Development of the Natural Area Coding System and its applications. The Natural Area Coding System is to unify all the representations of addresses, postal codes, geographic coordinates, area codes, map grids and property identifiers in the entire world with highly efficient, language independent and unique code called Natural Area Code (NAC). For example, instead of 10 Downing Street, London, United Kingdom, you can just use NAC: GZND RKHG to get to the British Prime Minister's Office.
When NAC is used as Global Postal Code, all mail and parcels can be sorted automatically from the world level to the final mail boxes.
When a NAC is used as a Universal Address instead of a street address to specify the destination on a navigation system, it can save 80% of key input, avoid difficulties in inputting addresses with foreign characters, eliminate troubles caused by missing addresses/outdated addresses/non-standard addresses/duplicated addresses, and most importantly, extend the location based service to all locations in the world no matter it is in a city or on the ocean.
When NAC is used as the Universal Map Grids for all maps, the location information from these maps is directly connected between each other no matter whether they are local street maps or country maps or world maps. Moreover, you can even directly pinpoint the Universal Address obtained from your smartphone or GPS device on these maps and make these printed paper maps function like "digital maps on huge screens".
If the Universal Addresses are marked on street signs, people, especially tourists can easily find any destinations as the comparison of the Universal Addresses of the current and the destination will tell the direction and distance.
