Former coworkers of one of the victims in this month's quadruple murder case in Linn County are raising money for her family.

Amanda Parker worked at Olde Brick House and Boulder Tap House in Cedar Rapids.

Ten percent of all sales on Thursday evening will go to Parker's family.

"I think it helps that we're all doing it together, we're all going through it together, so we have each other to lean on, which definitely is good. Some of us are taking it a little harder than others, y'know, but it gets better day by day, and some days are different than others," Olde Brick House Assistant General Manager Alexis Nicol said.

Parker and her boyfriend Romondus Cooper were living in the outbuilding on East Otter Road where they were found beaten to death on June 5, along with Brent Brown and Keonna Ryan.

Luke Truesdell is charged with their murders. His trial is scheduled for September.
