A young woman "had a bloody nose and was packing her vehicle with belongings," the arrest report said, but she wasn't the victim in this battery case.

Anabelle Nightengale was moving away from her sister, not expecting to spend the next two nights in jail, and deputies said the fighting on June 28 in Florida was over something she wanted to take.

“Tensions were rising,” according to her arrest report. “The defendant went into the victim's room to retrieve a mattress from the closet that she claimed was hers,” but it wasn’t, and the victim, her husband, and brother agreed.

“They advised that the defendant attempted to get the mattress from the closet,” and that’s when the violence started.

“The victim stood between the defendant and the closet and told the defendant she could not have the mattress.
“The defendant then battered the victim by shoving her backward into the closet.
“A scuffle ensued after the defendant shoved the victim, which left the defendant with a bloody nose after the victim defended herself.”

Nightengale, 19, was charged with battery and she spent a day-and-a-half in jail.

“The victim did not have any injuries,” the arrest report said.
