A huge thanks to all of Glion Institute of Higher Education AAG Alumni Association Glion graduating students for this recognition. Especially the graduating students from the #internationalhoteldevelopment and #finance #specialisation. This Faculty Award, based on students voting on their experience, wouldn’t have been possible without the dedicated excellence from my Specialisation team Mariana Palmeiro and Borivoj Vokrinek. In addition the continued support from my colleagues Giovanni Manfredini and Barbara Czyzewska, PhD and Linda Baggio Mike Macdonald. I would also like to thank the finance team Dang Jackson Pia Huh Josephine Tiggy Underwood Katarzyna Grinberg and Michael Michalakis at Glion Institute of Higher Education for preparing the students so well for the Specialisation - three out of four prizes were won by finance specialisation students - they also received the most distinctions, honours and merits in their degree awards. Thank you also to Antonina Santalova BA(Hons), MA(Hons), MPhil-DPhil (Oxon) and Frederic Picard for the award. Wishing all the students a wonderful start to their world of work: A short verse by the great Indian poet and philosopher Rabindranath Tagore — the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize, Einstein’s onetime conversation partner in contemplating science and spirituality, and a man who thought deeply about human nature: "I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was duty. I worked — and behold, duty was joy." 😊
