    Vacheron Constantin pays tribute to ancient Chinese culture with its new Métiers d'Art - Tribute to Traditional Symbols series The collection, consisting of four limited-edition timepieces created in close collaboration with the Former Associate Research Librarian of Palace Museum, features two interpretations of the "Seawater Cliff", a legendary Chinese motif that first appeared in the 14th century. Enameling, engraving and gemsetting transcribe the vast chromatic palette and complexity of the timepieces. With a 38 mm-diameter case in 18K pink or white gold, and powered by Calibre 2460 driving central hours and minutes hands, these models provide a powerful expression of Chinese cultural symbolism.     A. Lange & Söhne is proud to have been the presenting partner of this year’s Concours of Elegance Germany at Lake Tegernsee For the very first time, the vintage car event took place on the shores of Lake Tegernsee from the 26th – 27th of July 2024. The exhibition was oriented towards an international audience and brought together the most important collectors from all over the world to celebrate their cars in a spectacular setting. The automotive event offered an exclusive stage to also shine headlights on A. Lange & Söhne watchmaking artistry. Selected models from all six watch families invited spectators to take a journey of discovery into the world of the Glashütte manufacture. Naturally, chronographs took centre stage, symbolising the historical link between precision timekeeping and motorsport. "We are particularly delighted that the new edition of the Concours of Elegance was staged in the country where our manufacture’s roots lie, especially as Germany is world-renowned for its engineering artistry and automotive passion." said Wilhelm Schmid, A.     Montblanc introduces the Meisterstück x Olympic Heritage Collection, immortalising the centennial anniversary of three landmark moments By a stroke of luck, 1924 marks the launch of the timeless Meisterstück, the Olympic Games Paris 1924, and the Olympic Winter Games Chamonix 1924. The collection commemorates the art and design of the past Olympic Games and features the Olympic Heritage logo, engraved on cap top rings with an encircling wreath of leaves reminiscent of those presented as the highest accolade to victors at the Olympic Games of Antiquity. Derived from the nuance that characterises the sole of the Maison’s shoes, the emblematic Cipria-pink colour defines the ambience.     Today, A. Lange & Söhne pays homage to Walter Lange, who would have turned 100 years old on 29 July 2024 By reestablishing Lange Uhren GmbH on 7 December 1990, he not only succeeded in reviving his family's extensive watchmaking tradition after being forced to stop for over 40 years, but also paved the way for the resurgence of Saxon precision watchmaking founded by his great-grandfather in 1845. With his vision of responsible entrepreneurship and his commitment to the next generation of watchmakers, his influence still characterises the culture of the Maison. In autumn 2022, the manufacture paid tribute to its namesake by naming its internationally recognised in-house school the "Walter Lange Training and Further Education Centre".
