☀️As summer winds down, colleagues from SHL Medical’s Sweden facility laced up to catch the tail end of the warm weather. 🏃🏻🏃🏻Decked out in SHL-branded T-shirts, they joined Sweden’s largest relay race, Convinistafetten 2024! Our colleagues formed several teams and hit the track with great enthusiasm to complete the run together, making it a day to remember. The race was more than just a run – it was a chance to step out of the office, soak up the beautiful, sunny weather, and bond over a fun, healthy activity. From cheering each other on to crossing the finish line, it was a memorable occasion and a true testament to teamwork and camaraderie. 🎀 Celebrate with SHL Medical on the official launch of our first electric truck! 🚚 Today we take a giant leap in our quest for a more #sustainable future. In partnership with Lu Bo Freight Transport, we've introduced Volvo’s electric truck – a game-changer that is designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions compared to traditional diesel trucks. ⚡ SHL’s electric truck is the second Volvo vehicle of its kind to operate on the road of Taiwan. Taiwanese government officials and SHL’s senior management gathered at our Taoyuan-Liufu site to celebrate this historic move. About 80% of our shipments now travel by sea instead of air, and we have optimized shipping container space and reduced our transportation-related emissions by moving from single to double stacks. And did we mention our shift to recycled PP materials for shipment pallets has cut our carbon emissions by 50%?
