VIP LOUNGE FAQS
You must be 21 years of age or older on or before August 17, 2024, in order to purchase a VIP Pass. No one under the age of 21 will be allowed entry into the VIP Lounge. Valid government-issued photo ID will be required when entering the VIP Lounge. If you are under the age of 21 and purchase a VIP pass, you will be denied entry to the VIP Lounge and no refund will be issued.
Because this event is held in the Mint Museum, please respect their property, as well as their standards of dress and behavior. Charlote Pride, Inc. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove any and all individuals from entering or continuing to participate in the VIP Experience for any reason, including but not limited to, safety, perceived condition, failure to comply with Charlotte Pride or Mint Museum staff instructions or dress requirements – including immodest dress or wearing of glitter — and/or any violation of the rules and regulations set out here or on event signage.
DO NOT wear or bring glitter into the museum. You will be denied entry if you are wearing glitter.
Please ensure that you are wearing a shirt and that genitals, buttocks, and breasts/chest are covered while in the Mint Museum. Thank you for your understanding.
Must be 21+ to consume alcohol. It is illegal to consume alcohol if you’re under 21 years of age. Please show your state or government issued photo ID to the bartender if you plan to have an alcoholic beverage. Overconsumption of alcohol and/or inappropriate behavior will be grounds for expulsion from the VIP Lounge and/or Charlotte Pride Festival. Alcohol served in the VIP Lounge is not allowed to be taken or consumed outside the designated VIP area. Charlotte Pride reserves the right to refuse service.
Special VIP Wristband with identification is required for entry and re-entry to the VIP Lounge, stage viewing, and parade viewing areas. Charlotte Pride will issue a new wristband each day of the event. Come early on Sunday to get your wristband for access to the parade viewing!
