Pursuant to Florida State Statute 287.055, Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act, the City of Sunrise is seeking to engage the services of a qualified design-build firm to provide design-build services for the Civic Center Pool Pump Replacement Project.
The City will electronically receive, open, and publicly read aloud qualification submittals for the above-referenced matter 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024, via Onvia Demandstar at City Hall, 1st Floor, 10770 W. Oakland Park Blvd., Sunrise, Florida 33351.
This project is being funded by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund, funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Contractor must comply with all terms and conditions of the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Funding Agreement, attached hereto as Attachment 2 - U.S. Department of the Treasury Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund Award Terms and Conditions.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Submittal meeting and site visit has been scheduled for Friday, September 13, 2024 at 9:00am at Civic Center Concession area 10610 W Oakland Park Blvd, Sunrise, FL 33351.
This RFQ may be obtained at www.demandstar.com. The City is not responsible for the accuracy of other means of distribution. Alteration of the content of this document shall result in disqualification. Submittals must be sealed and the RFQ number and title must be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope.
No submittals will be received, accepted, or considered after said time and date, unless the City, in its sole discretion reasonably exercised, elects to extend the time for submission and receipt of submittals. Any request for an extension of time should be made prior to RFQ opening and directed to the Purchasing Director, City of Sunrise (954) 572-2274. No faxed bids will be accepted.
After any RFQ is opened or a Short List is established for a Request for Proposal or Request for Qualifications, any information concerning the solicitation shall be available only through the City Attorney, Purchasing Director or an individual specifically named in the solicitation. See City of Sunrise Ordinance 486 for details.
Special accommodation: If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the board, agency, or commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based F.S.S. 286.0105.
