We held an opening event for our very first Brooklyn showroom on August 13th. We were joined by Dina Rabiner (VP Economic Development and Strategic Partnerships of Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce) and Yeraida Medrano (Con Edison/ICF Senior Account Manager), who shared speeches and gave their regards. This is Midea's 4th showroom opening since February. By October, Midea will open 8 showrooms across America. Our approach to showrooms is about adding value to both industry insiders and consumers on the local level, providing a new way to experience heat pump products and their various applications & usage scenarios. Every Midea showroom displays our advanced Cold Climate Heat Pump technologies, the Packaged Window Heat Pump, scenarios & applications of EVOX ducted solutions, multi-zone heat pump solutions, as well as domestic water heating solutions. The makes Midea showrooms ideal for both the industry and consumers learn more about heat pump solutions first-hand. Midea showrooms also offer training sessions every week for local contractors & installers. For instance, our flagship showroom in Queens has a designated space for Con Edison to provide regular training courses on the conditions & standards for decommissioning old HVAC systems in addition to learning more about the requirements of Con Edison incentive programs. Midea is bringing innovative solutions to high-rise apartments with the Packaged Window Heat Pump (PWHP), providing convenience and reliable heating with stable operation in ultra-low temperatures. The PWHP includes the first application of mainstream EVI compressor technology, commonly used in heat pumps, in window-type units to deliver heat with high energy efficiency and meet ultra-low temperature operating requirements. It can be depended on in cold climate regions, achieving 100% heating at 5℉ or -15°C with COP up to 2.0 with continuous operation down to -13℉ or -25°C. It also features an exclusive condensation management system specifically optimized for cold weather to prevent freezing & shutdowns. The PWHP is designed to prevent its drain pan and water pipe from freezing by recovering heat while using atomization to ensure stable drainage throughout the winter.
