Woodland Mushroom Quilt Block uses half-square triangles to make a sweet image of a Woodland Mushroom and is very scrap-friendly.

This is a simple, machine quilted blanket for the baby. I wanted something cute and unique, and thought mushrooms would be a fun applique. I love the peaceful blues and tans. We aren't sure what gender the baby is yet, but I think either boy or girl could use this. Same goes for the matching knit slippers-aren't the cris-cross straps just adorable?

I almost didn't make a table scraps challenge this month, feeling so tired from the last project quilting piece, and the round robin finish. I'm so glad I made this!
