New Private Drinking Water Quality Maps

The new Private Drinking Water tool is here! Use the map to see the percentage of private wells and springs in Vermont towns that have tested above health limits for common contaminants including arsenic, fluoride, gross alpha, nitrate, radon and uranium. The tool also has information about the source and health risks of each contaminant.

Regardless of what data shows in your area, the Health Department recommends regular testing for everyone on private water. Learn more about testing your water on our website.
