The public face of the Crimson Dawn crime syndicate, Dryden Vos is a powerful and manipulative individual, but he is also known for his ruthlessness and luxurious lifestyle, willing to remove any one who stands in his way. Vos is obsessed with wealth and aesthetic.

This Visual Guide has been reviewed by the detachment staff and the LMO team and is certified for use as a minimum approval guideline for GMLs. GMLs are free to approve this costume type.
- This document is not intended to be a detailed how-to on costume construction; rather a visual guide to be used for 501st costume approval. Details on construction may be found on the respective costume detachment web forum.
- GMLs uncertain about an aspect of submitted costume shall post questions in the appropriate DL/GML peer review section of the Legion forum.
- Measurements given in this document are intended to be approximate and generalized; not criteria for approval.
- Requirements for all 501st costumes are proportional to the wearer in scale, fit and size.
- Text descriptions are only one part of the guideline. GMLs and costumers must consider both text and pictures (CRL and Reference) when reviewing the costume.

| Required Costume Components
|
|
The following costume components are present and appear as described below.
|
|
|
|
Face and Hair
- Hair is sandy blonde in color and the face is clean shaven.
- Hair may be achieved by the costumers hair, or a quality styled wig.
- A small metal greeblie is attached to the costumers head a the hairline on the left side
- Intricate striations run parallel down the face, and may be achieved through cosmetics or prosthetics.

|
Shirt
- The shirt is made from a white to off white, light weight shirting fabric.
- The shirt has a circular collar, and has a deep V cut.
- There are no visible buttons or fastenings.
- Shirt is long-sleeved, and the cuffs show below the jacket sleeves.

OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable):
- The shirt is made from washed silk.
|

|
|
Hands
- A Crimson Dawn sigil ring is own on the middle finger of the right hand.
- A wide silver bangle is worn on the right wrist. It has a rectangular opening on the top and is not fully closed. Edges on the bottom opening are rounded.
- Ring and bangle may show slight weathering.
|
|
|
|
Jacket and Cape
- A black jacket with a side cape is worn.
- If the cloak is separate, there can be no discernible connections or attachments.
- The jacket is tailored to the wearer and made of fine gabardine or another suiting fabric that has a very subtle diagonal ridging.
- There is an a-line panel that extends from the costumers waist to the bottom of the jacket, and is made from the same fabric as the jacket and cut on the bias (so light reflects differently). This panel is horizontal, forming a triangle shape.
- The seam connecting the upper and lower part of the jacket front may be raised, or be constructed from piping.
- The upper panel shows a dart.

- The jacket and cloak are made from a silk wool blend fabric.
- The jacket and cloak are one item.

|
|
Belt
- A wide leather, or leather-like belt is worn.
- The belt has no visible fastening.
- The belt has two greeblies attached at the front.
- The top greeblie is long and textured, with a round pendant on the righthand side. The pendant is embossed to feature a landscape with three circles.
- The bottom greeblie is shorter and wider than the top, and features a smaller pendant on the righthand side. The pendant is embossed with three ridges, and two squares in the centre. This greeblie also has a small panel, with a circle and four ridges.
- Stingray leather or an imitation of stingray leather is used to cover parts of the greeblies.

|
Pants
- The pants are black, ankle-length, wrap-pants with belt-loops.
- The pants have a 'harem style' drop crotch.
- The pants are constructed from a light-weight fabric with a pinstripe.
- The pants may have pockets, although the pockets should not be visible when the full costume is worn.
- There is a small pin-tuck at the ankle of the wrap pants, where the wrap ends.

Rope Belt
- A belt constructed from white rope is worn with the pants (not connected to the leather belt).
- The rope belt forms a decorative knot on the costumer’s right side.
- The rope belt forms a loop on the costumer’s left side.

|
|
Shoes
- Black sneaker-styled shoes are worn, made from leather ore leather-like material.
- The soles are black and white in colour.
- There is are no visible fastenings.
- Plain black socks must be worn with the shoes.

| Optional Accessories
|
|
Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present appear as described below. If adding in an accessory after initial approval, the item still needs to be submitted to local GML for approval before use.

|
|
Kyuzo petars
- The twin bladed Kyuzo petars have a bronze knuckle guard and silver embellishments.
- The insides of the openings are painted red.
- Each blade curves opposite to the other.
- Edges may glow red.

|
|
Claw
- The thumb on the right hand has a long claw-like nail.
- All other nails are manicured short.
|
|
|
|
Eyes
- Blue eyes.
- Contact lenses may be worn to achieve this. Please consult an eye specialist.
