Context: Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi
Ree-Yees was a Gran who worked for the Crime Lord, Jabba the Hutt. While his role was primarily to care for Jabba's pet Buboicullaar, he was also a bouncer and like many who worked at the palace, Ree-Yees despised his employer.

This Visual Guide has been reviewed by the detachment staff and the LMO team and is certified for use as a minimum approval guideline for GMLs. GMLs are free to approve this costume type.
- This document is not intended to be a detailed how-to on costume construction; rather a visual guide to be used for 501st costume approval. Details on construction may be found on the respective costume detachment web forum.
- GMLs uncertain about an aspect of submitted costume shall post questions in the appropriate DL/GML peer review section of the Legion forum.
- Measurements given in this document are intended to be approximate and generalized; not criteria for approval.
- Requirements for all 501st costumes are proportional to the wearer in scale, fit and size.
- Text descriptions are only one part of the guideline. GMLs and costumers must consider both text and pictures (CRL and Reference) when reviewing the costume.

Required Costume Components
|
The following costume components are present and appear as described below.
|
|
|
Mask
- The mask is made from a high quality latex or silicone product.
- The skin tone is dark cream and tan.
- There are three (3) protruding eye-stalks in the front. The eyes are black.
- There are two (2) small antennae-like nubs towards the front of the top of the head and two (2) further back on top of the head.
- The ears are positioned at the side of the head and are 'goat-like' in appearance.
- The mouth extends outward like a snout with two small nostrils and a top row of large teeth.
- The opening of the mask is concealed under the tunic.

Tunic
- The tunic is made of a brown nylon or canvas type material.
- The tunic closes in the front.
- The tunic neck line is low, exposing the mask skin, and has a rounded "V" shape collar.
- The collar is slightly padded.
- The shoulders extend beyond the sleeves by a small amount.
- The tunic has parallel vertical quilted panels.
- At the wrist, there are two (2) wide horizontal quilts.
- The entire tunic is weathered to give a waxy or oily sheen.

Hands
- Hands are made from a high quality latex or silicone product.
- The skin tone is dark cream and tan.
- The hands have a thumb and four fingers. They are short and tubular.
- The fingertips are concave in shape.
- The hands have horizontal bands with a bumpy texture from the wrist to the start of the fingers.
- The fingers have a normal skin texture.

Belt
- A leather or leather-like belt wraps the tunic around the costumer.
- There are two (2) silver boxes attached to the belt; on the left and right of the belt, in front of the hip.
- The belt has two (2) black poppers at the front.

Pants
- The pants are made of a brown nylon or canvas material.
- The pants have a vertical strip running the entire length of the outside of the leg.

|
Boots
- The boots are sand or tan colored with a rubber toe.
- The boots are covered with by a spat.
|
|
|
Spats
- The spat is deep straw or mustard in color.
- The spat extends all the way to the knee with two small ribs at the top.
- There is a grey knee-pad insert in the top of the spat.
- The knees have a grey or off-white rounded knee pad.
