A dramatic finding, as the silicate has been used in numerous products since 1930: Fiber cement, panels for building construction, brake and clutch linings, seals and molding compounds produced during this time are highly likely to contain asbestos. Asbestos fibers are extremely dangerous for humans, as the small pieces of fiber can easily be inhaled. This often leads to irritation of the lung tissue, which can cause lung cancer. Exposure to asbestos fibers should therefore be detected as early as possible. The GBA Group offers scanning electron microscopy analysis for this purpose. 𝗠𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 The new Regulation (EU) 2024/1987 sets maximum levels of nickel in certain foods. This change to Regulation (EU) 2023/915 is necessary to better protect consumer health from the harmful effects of nickel. The regulation takes effect July 1, 2025 and includes transition periods to give businesses time to adjust to the new limits. Ein erhöhter Nachweis von 𝘗𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘶𝘮 𝘭𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘮 im Innenraum kann auf eine erhöhte Feuchtigkeit hinweisen. Häufig tritt die Art dabei in Biofilmen mit anderen Schimmelpilzen und Bakterien auf, was sie vergleichsweise resistent gegenüber chemischen Desinfektionsmitteln machen kann. 🔵 Gesundheitliche Aspekte 𝘗𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘶𝘮 𝘭𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘮 wird wirtschaftlich als biological control Agent gegenüber bestimmten Nematoden (Fadenwürmern) und Insekten verwendet. Thermotolerante Stämme können bei bis zu 38°C wachsen und können somit in sehr seltenen Fällen auch bei Menschen Infektionen auslösen. 🔵Umweltbedeutung In der Umwelt tritt 𝘗𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘶𝘮 𝘭𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘮 wahrscheinlich als Zersetzer von totem organischen Material auf und scheint dabei keinen Unterschied zwischen pflanzlichen oder tierischen Resten zu machen.
