I needed a Head of Marketing – and found a star in 21 Days... With a budget of 2,085 €. Hiring the right person for a key role is a challenge. After filling nine Marketing positions in a year, I knew I needed a better system. I'm German, of course, organizing processes is in my blood. 😎 Here's how I streamlined the process and landed a fantastic Head of Marketing for Jaumo in just 3 weeks. All budget-friendly and without relying on external recruiters... Budget & Reach ↳ We allocated 2085 € to promote our job advert on LinkedIn.  ↳ 82.3% of our applicants came directly through this channel. ↳ Some were directly referred, thanks to my personal brand. Simplified Application: ↳ Candidates applied via CV plus a short questionnaire.  ↳ Including: a short video, details about their typical workday, references, expected salary. Efficient Interviews: ↳ 30-minute culture fit interview with myself (CEO, Co-founder). ↳ A practical case study relevant to the marketing role. ↳ 90-minute final interview (with our CTO/Co-founder, a senior marketing member, and me). Results:  ↳ We attracted 119 qualified applicants.  ↳ I had 14 culture-fit interviews. ↳ 11 did the case study. ↳ We had 8 final interviews. ↳ All done within 21 days. The success of this hiring campaign underscores the power of a streamlined process and targeted advertising. This approach can help you find top talent quickly and efficiently, saving time and resources. Despite being a fully remote company, we spent two full days together to get to know each other better. Busy day. Busy week. Busy month. I’ve found an unexpected sanctuary when life gets overwhelming: the boxing ring... 🥊 Boxing isn’t just a sport. Boxing is a way of life. Boxing pushes me to challenge myself. To exceed my limits. For me, boxing is meditation. ↳ It calms my mind. ↳ Strengthens my soul. As my trainer once said after a heavy workout: "This is our freedom. For the past two hours, we haven't worried about anything. Nothing about money, jobs, school, relationships, health, or anything else." I started a year ago. And I still have to learn a lot. I got a few bloody noses. Just like in business. But it pushed me to my limits. Taking my mind off of work. Many times. Boxing gives me space to be present without overthinking. Boxing is a passion that helps me discover and grow myself.
