🛋️ A fully circular office? Challenge accepted 🚀 We are taking a step that feels at the same time amazing and really scary for us: in September we are moving in our very first OWN OFFICE 🤩 And OF COURSE our office needs to fulfill different needs for us as a team: ✅ Room for focus and deep-work ✅ Area for collaboration and creativity ✅ Soundproof seats for calls and meetings ✅ Welcoming and appealing for guests, partners and clients We want to have a clean, but cozy atmosphere AND being a circular startup we definitely DON’T want to buy NEW STUFF for our office… so here’s the challenge we set ourselves: 💥 Plan and realize a fully functional, modern and cozy office that is at least 90% equipped with used or refurbished products 💥 To be honest, this is not an easy task at all… here are just some first challenges we met: ➡️ Matching our creative ideas with the reality of available products ➡️ Fitting all the requirements and different working areas into the TINY room we have ➡️ Doing tons of research on who offers used furniture in quantities > 1 ➡️ Finding cool stuff on Kleinanzeigen, but still managing to get an invoice for accounting ➡️ Realizing that it would be SO MUCH easier to furnish the office with new products What we already learned is that including our network in the process makes so much sense… we found an absolute expert in the field of circular interior design who will help us create an amazing result 🙏 Thanks Madeleine Hoff for taking this challenge with us!! We as entrepreneurs can only create jobs, produce goods, provide services and contribute to society if the conditions are right. Right-wing populist movements jeopardise democratic values as well as climate protection and transformation projects. Happy Birthday… to us!! koorvi officially turns 1 🥳 Time flies and we took a moment to reflect on our journey so far: 👣 It’s all about #consistency - with been all about #circularity and #takeback for almost three years and can now see the ripple effects of our activities starting to accelerate and pay off. 📅 It takes longer than you think - there is so much to do and we constantly feel like we can never accomplish everything, but looking back we made amazing #progress with the product, winning our first customers and building a great team #culture. 🤝🏼 #Together is way more fun than alone - the team and our wider network are the most important fundament that propelled us through some rough phases within the last year. We benefitted in all areas from the support, expertise and goodwill of our ecosystem and try to do the same for others. Building a company is about #givingandtaking. ⌛️ #Pauses are as important as pushing - our hardest lesson. Starting in every new week we are buzzing with motivation and a filled to do list. Sometimes the days are just overwhelming and even frustrating if things don’t work out as planned. Especially in those moments it helps so much to stop being busy and start reflecting back on our purpose and priorities before starting off again. Die Zeit ist knapp! Jetzt geht es um’s Machen! 💪🏻 Darüber waren sich diese Woche beim #DSS24 alle einig. Dabei ist die #TwinTransition – also die Verbindung von grünem und digitalem Wandel – kein Trade-off, sondern ein Standortvorteil, den wir für uns nutzen können. Mit 300+ Teilnehmenden, 40+ Speakern und 10+ Sessions wurden viele spannende Ideen diskutiert, wie Digitalisierung #Nachhaltigkeit fördern kann, nachhaltige Geschäftsmodelle entstehen und wie wir die #Digitalbranche klimafreundlich transformieren können. Die zentrale Botschaft des Summits: Es gibt riesige #Potenziale, die wir noch lange nicht ausschöpfen. Das sehe ich ganz genauso. Für eine gelingende #circulareconomy brauchen wir digitale Technologien als #Enabler für zirkuläre Geschäftsmodelle und als verbindendes Element in einem #Ökosystem von zirkulären Akteuren. Ich habe mich sehr über die Gelegenheit gefreut unseren Ansatz zu #tech meets #ecosystem von koorvi (former numi.circular) vorzustellen und habe im Anschluss zahlreiche spannende Gespräche mit Teilnehmenden und anderen Speaker:innen geführt! Danke an das Get Started by Bitkom Team für die großartige Orga und insbesondere an Christofer Bingener für die grandiose Anmoderation - tatsächlich die treffendste Vorstellung von koorvi, die ich bisher gehört habe 🙌🏻 Was ich mitnehme?
