𝙄𝙋𝘿 𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙏𝙤𝙠𝙮𝙤 On May 7th, the Indo-Pacific Deployment (IPD) 2024 set sail, and after stops in Halifax, New York, the Panama Canal, San Diego, and Pearl Harbor, the replenishment ship “Frankfurt am Main” and the frigate “Baden-Württemberg” – on behalf of the German Navy – have now arrived in Japan. The formal visit is aimed at strengthening the partnership between #Germany and #Japan. However, the focus is also on collaboration with German #industry. This is where we, as RENK, come into play: We are pleased to have had the opportunity to present our latest hybrid gearing solutions to the Japanese Navy and industrial partners, which have garnered significant interest. Together with our partners, we are working to bring cutting-edge German #technology to Japan. We would like to extend our gratitude to the German Embassy and the German Navy for their dedicated support in this endeavor.

🎓 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙇𝙈𝙎: 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙡𝙖𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙 Cornerstone OnDemand LMS is the new, innovative learning platform at RENK, marking another important step towards the #digitization of our #HR department. The platform, which is available to all employees globally, was introduced at the beginning of August and serves as a centralized hub for training, learning content, and educational programs. All RENK training sessions are managed through the platform – digital, transparent, and highly intuitive to use. The launch was a great success: A large portion of employees successfully completed their first assigned training within the first two weeks.

What is a #gearbox, how does it work and what functions does it serve on a ship? RENK provides foundational knowledge in worldwide customer #training sessions not only to ship crews but also to naval base personnel, as part of our wide range of #marine services. The customized training courses on site or at RENK with comprehensive presentations and training materials, create a deep understanding of the installed gear unit system as the heart and link between all components of the #drivetrain – conveying system context and skills to ensure safe operation at all times and enabling the trainees to troubleshoot, if needed.  Navies worldwide rely on RENK’s training courses. In a tailored training session, not only the theoretical basics are taught, but hands-on practical exercises help to easily manage maintenance and repair tasks onboard or at the base. Supporting the training sessions are VR headsets: Complete models of the gear unit systems are used to demonstrate operation modes, to explain inner components or to visualize maintenance tasks. The training courses – conducted in English, German or with an interpreter if desired – are always tailored to the specific project and provide tangible added value. The RENK Group is setting new benchmarks – delivering record-breaking figures in the first half-year period of 2024! Driven by dynamic #growth across all our business segments, we achieved impressive results in the second quarter of this fiscal year, which was the strongest Q2 in our company’s history.  The supercycle and ‘Zeitenwende’ are clearly reflected in our key figures: Revenue and order intake were at an all-time high in Q2. Revenue increased by 24.4% to € 510 million in the first half-year period of 2024. Adjusted H1 EBIT grows by 9.4% to € 69 million (H1 2023: € 63 million). The accelerated #revenue growth and the high level of total order backlog, which increased by 10.1 % and corresponds with its 4.7 billion Euros to more than four years of revenue, underscore the exceptional performance of the first half of 2024. Our financial guidance for 2024 has been refined and raised – we continue to focus on growth! #defense #industry #europe

On August 12, 2024, the Supervisory Board of RENK Group AG decided on a change in the Executive Board of RENK Group AG: Christian Schulz, CFO of RENK Group AG, has asked the Supervisory Board of RENK Group AG to terminate his contract prematurely for personal reasons. With the consent of the Supervisory Board, he will leave the company with effect from September 30, 2024. Anja Mänz-Siebje, Head of Corporate Finance and CFO of RENK GmbH, will be appointed Chief Financial and IT Officer of RENK Group AG with effect from October 1, 2024. Summer, sunshine, sea – cruises are extremely popular during the vacation season. With often several thousand people on board, reliable #technology is essential – or alternatively, a #service team that can resolve problems at record speed and keep the ship operational. Employees from RENK Corporation in Duncan, USA, recently achieved such a feat: A popular #cruise line with over 3,500 guests on board experienced engine problems in the Caribbean and contacted RENK. The service team immediately attended to the issue, was brought on board the ship, and was able to identify the problem. The required spare parts were delivered directly to Jamaica by RENK just two days later – and the ship was operational again just 24 hours after that. All this was accomplished without the guests being aware of the problems. An impressive success that demonstrates the #reliability of the RENK service team at all times.
