We’re pleased to share some photos from the ‘Ellen von Unwerth. Heimat’ signing at TASCHEN's Paris store. The book takes readers on an enchanted tour of Bavaria through alpine forests, emerald lakes, and beautiful snow-dusted peaks, following the lives of village girls Hilda, Traudel and Heidi. To celebrate the launch, TASCHEN guests and friends immersed themselves in Bavarian culture, with some even dressed in lederhosen and dirndl. Enjoying bretzels from La Petite Alsacienne, they waited for their moment with Ellen von Unwerth, the renowned photographer herself.

A couple of weeks ago, TASCHEN’s London store celebrated the release of The Gourmand’s Lemon. Authors, collaborators, and TASCHEN guests came together to see the display, and buy their copy of the book, whilst enjoying lemon cocktails served by our aperitif partner, Allora. The event coincided with the Royal Horticultural Society’s Chelsea Flower Show, and as part of the annual borough-wide ‘Chelsea in Bloom’ celebration, the TASCHEN store made their debut with a floral, lemon-inspired installation based around the book.
