We set new turnover and customer records 🌟 Our turnover increased by 7.6 per cent reaching DKK 41.4 billion (EUR 5.6 billion) for the financial year 2023/24. At the same time, the number of new customers increased with 11.9 million driven by great offers within Scandinavian sleeping and living. 🚀 💬 “I would like to thank our employees for their hard work and dedication and not least their great customer first mindset. Our financial year had a challenging start with low sales, but with our focus on competitive prices and our quality products we succeeded in setting yet another turnover record for JYSK. TIME announces JYSK as one of the World’s Best Companies 2024 🏆 On 12 September 2024, the American news magazine TIME has announced that we are listed as one of the World’s Best Companies. 💼 💬 “We are extremely proud to receive this recognition from TIME. The recognition proves once again that we are growing our company in a socially responsible way with focus on our employees’ job satisfaction, empowerment, and a feeling of belonging. It is very important to us that you can be yourself in JYSK while building a successful career with us and the TIME recognition shows us that we are doing it right,” says Executive Vice President HR, Jan Verhoek. 1,000 companies are awarded with a score from 1-100 based on three dimensions: employee satisfaction, revenue growth and sustainability. The companies with the highest score were awarded as the World’s Best Companies 2024 by TIME and we scored 79.65. 🙌 Our own Employee Satisfaction Survey from January 2024 shows that JYSK employees are more motivated, satisfied, and loyal to their workplace than the market average. 97 per cent of employees from stores, offices and distribution centres participated in the survey and they rated JYSK 75 out of 100 in job satisfaction, 82 of 100 in loyalty to the company and 83 out of 100 in regard to JYSK values: Tradesmanship, Colleague and Corporate Spirit. 🌟 #proudtobeJYSK #retail #employer #worldsbestcompanies

JYSK memories 🌟 A lot has happened at JYSK since the first store opened in Denmark in 1979. We’ve been in the archives to see how the world of JYSK looked like in the past. 👀 🌍 15 years ago Exactly 30 years after the opening of the first JYSK store in Denmark, on 2 April 2009, we expanded to Italy by opening its doors in Serravalle. In that very same week, we had also opened our first stores in both Croatia and Spain, marking a very special week for JYSK despite the ongoing global financial crisis at the time. 🛒 10 years ago The very first JYSK store, opened by Lars Larsen in 1979, is located on Silkeborgvej in Aarhus, Denmark. After an enlargement of the store, Lars Larsen came back to officially reopen it to the public for the second time and celebrate with the excited, queuing customers. 🎖 3 years ago In 2021, ahead of the 42nd anniversary of JYSK, we introduced our own way of honouring employees, who have been with JYSK for a particularly long time. Employees who had celebrated their 40th anniversary working in JYSK would now get their name posted on the new plate of honour. At its introduction in 2021, the Hall of Fame had four employees posted, while the plate of honour has now grown to include 15 JYSK colleagues. Country Director for Poland celebrates 25 years at JYSK 🎉 Piotr Padalak, Country Director for JYSK Poland, celebrates his 25th anniversary, and soon the anniversary of our presence in Poland. In 1999, Piotr found information in a newspaper that our founder, Lars Larsen, was planning to open JYSK stores in Poland. 🛒 After 12 years in Denmark, Piotr returned to Poland, which was undergoing many economic and political changes at the time. Poland was still outside the European Union. In March 2000, we opened our first store in Gdansk, Poland, and today, JYSK Poland is one of the three largest players on the local market among home furnishing companies. Next year, we will celebrate 25 years in Poland. 🙌 💬 “We are constantly developing JYSK in Poland. We have 300 stores, and we want to have close to 500. We are in the top three in Poland, and we strive to be on the podium, in the highest position,” says Piotr. And Piotr plans to stay in JYSK together with his valued colleagues: 💬 “I both like and respect the company I work for very much. I appreciate the people I work with for their commitment, ambition and for the way they are as great colleagues. Our Range & Design team has recently given it a makeover with new indoor products from the latest assortment, inspired by the most current design trends. The aim was to create inspiring new environments for both colleagues and visitors.
