True to the motto of “strong, fast, simple,” Copenhagen-based Kassow Robots develops and manufactures highly efficient and lightweight 7-axis robots for industrial applications. Despite their extensive reach, these cobots are not only extremely strong and fast, but can also be deployed in the tightest of spaces thanks to the enormous maneuverability afforded by the 7th axis. The KR cobots open up flexible, independent, and cost-effective programming and automation capabilities to both SMEs and large industrial enterprises. Bosch Rexroth has been our majority owner since the end of April 2022, with founder and co-owner Kristian Kassow remaining CEO. The Kassow Robots product family currently (Status: Nov 2023) includes the five 7-axis cobots KR 810 (with an 850 mm reach / 10 kg payload), KR 1018 (1,000 mm / 18 kg), KR 1205 (1,200 mm / 5 kg), KR 1410 (1,400 mm / 10kg) and KR 1805 (1,800 mm / 5 kg).

Kassow Robots on fire 🔥 Presence of Netelco SA during the festivities of the Old Town of Xanthi The Netelco SA team decided to participate in the festivities of the Old Town of Xanthi during the festivities on August 31st to September 7th 2024. The Old Town Festivals, which have been taking place since 1991 with the arrival of autumn. Most of these events take place in the traditional preserved settlement of Xanthi, the so-called "Old Town", in the alleys of which cultural and carnival clubs are set up to offer food and drinks. Feasts are set up at the clubs' hangouts, while cultural and visual events are held at the same time. Netelco ABEE having a passion for automation and modernization designed a gas BBQ, installed and programmed a 7-axis arm from Kassow Robots a Bosch Rexroth group company to grill fully automatically. The arm also used an electric grinder to salt the meat. The arm's work cycle included the following movements: it took the grill racks with the raw meats, placed them on the grill, turned them until they were cooked, and then placed the cooked meat in a disc. The purpose of the above application was to highlight the usefulness of Cobots in everyday life, the ease of their programming, the minimum space required to operate as well as the flexibility provided by the 7 axis of the KR Cobots as the Arm was placed on the side of the BBQ adding space and flexibility.

Last week, our company team took part in the DHL Relay Run in Copenhagen🇩🇰 We had 3 running teams with 14 dedicated participants, and a walking team of 4. Everyone brought their best energy to the race. 🏅 Highlights include a new company record for the 5km run, set by Simon Herlett, who achieved an impressive time of ⏱️ 22:29. Another standout moment was Ole W. stepping up to run twice to cover for a missing teammate, delivering a strong ⏱️ 23:36 on the first leg. Talk about dedication! After the race, we enjoyed homemade sandwiches and a nice fireworks show. But this is just the beginning—next year, we’re coming back. Stronger, faster, and with a grill ready to go! 🔥🦾 A huge thank you to everyone who participated and supported us. Let’s keep this going! 🏃♂️
