Happy Flag Day! 🇩🇰 Today, September 5th, is the official flag day / Veterans Day for all Danes who have been deployed on international missions since 1948. This day is dedicated to the brave men and women in services like the emergency responders, police officers, and healthcare workers who have sacrificed their time, effort, and in some cases, their lives to ensure peace, security, and humanitarian aid around the world. Today, we commemorate the veterans, the deployed, and their families for their tremendous sacrifices and are proud to continue our support through our work with the Danish Defence and InterForce Denmark, amongst others. Time to say hello to our newest Team Lead and Senior Technical Project Manager, Christina Sigurdsson! 😍 Christina joins the ranks with a wealth of experience, having earned her Master's degree in IT with a specialization in Project Management from Paris, and brings a unique blend of technical acumen, leadership, and design thinking to our team. Reflecting on her career journey, Christina shared, “When I started many years ago, I was pretty sure that I wanted to be a web developer…but then it just became clear that project management and having that overview to keep things moving was something that I had a natural knack and interest for.” Christina is no stranger to Trifork, having worked for our digital design agency, Duckwise, for many years before moving into Trifork Smart Enterprise. Knowing about our huge focus on user experience and high-quality solutions, she says, “I can use my skills as a technical project manager and now build on that with the knowledge and experience I have with design thinking and a user-centric mindset! Asking both the HOW and the WHY is important to me as it brings the best of both worlds to our culture and our customers.” Christina thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment and feels fully aligned with Trifork’s mission to enhance the life of our customer’s employees by creating tools that improve productivity and bring joy to their every day work. We’re happy to introduce David Buhauer, who just joined us as our new Senior Mobility Developer 👨💻 Originally from Viborg, David now calls Aarhus his home and brings with him extensive experience in mobile development, particularly for iOS, as well as expertise in backend systems. Over the years, he has worked on projects ranging from salary registration products in Denmark to designing and implementing apps for both small startups and large companies. David’s passion lies in problem solving more than anything, and turning ideas into functional, impactful solutions. He is motivated by Trifork’s exciting projects, working with large clients, collaborating with major technology partners and working with new and innovative technologies. “I’m thrilled to be a part of Trifork and contribute to creating cutting-edge solutions for our customers. I’m looking forward to challenging myself not only in terms of technology but also personal development, looking out in the world for problems that businesses have and how we can help them solve them while making a significant impact. From a young age, Montse's life has been a whirlwind of travel and discovery. Her passion for learning about new cultures and meeting new people began at a young age, from traveling with family since the age of 3 and enjoying summer camps abroad at age 14, to studying business and management in the UK. Her journey also includes a two-year backpacking trip around the world, where she volunteered as a teacher in countries like Nepal, Australia, and Peru, and even conquering her fear of what’s under the sea by becoming a scuba diving instructor 🤿 Montse has a rich background in operations and project management, working with international teams and handling cross-company projects with global influence. She began her career in consultancy, focusing on SAP procedures, and her experience spans various industries, from managing digital projects and ecommerce operations to overseeing catering and events management for premium sports events.
