Also, removed the quotation marks again, as while I understand the need for parallelism, having the only thing be quoted that isn't listing their names be just "girlfriends" just seems strange when the earlier example more justifiably quoted an entire phrase: "...good and crazy married friends". Maybe no quotes at all and just paraphrasing would be better? undo
