The Maltese cross is found as a marker on all final approach fixes including both precision and non-precision on FAA charts. The lightning bolt symbol (the glide slope intercept) is not the symbol for the final approach fix on precision approaches. The mentioning of that symbol is irrelevant since the Maltese cross is also used alongside the lightning bolt symbol on some approaches. undo Tags: Visual edit Mobile edit Mobile web edit
