The '''Bleecker Street and Fulton Ferry Railroad''' was chartered [[December 12]], [[1864]] and began operations in April 1865. Eastbound cars ran along [[14th Street (Manhattan)|14th Street]], [[Hudson Street (Manhattan)|Hudson Street]], [[Bleecker Street (Manhattan)|Bleecker Street]], [[Crosby Street (Manhattan)|Crosby Street]], [[Howard Street (Manhattan)|Howard Street]], [[Lafayette Street (Manhattan)|Lafayette Street]], [[Reade Street (Manhattan)|Reade Street]], [[Centre Street (Manhattan)|Centre Street]], [[Park Row (Manhattan)|Park Row]], and [[Beekman Street (Manhattan)|Beekman Street]]. Westbound cars returned from the ferry on [[Fulton Street (Manhattan)|Fulton Street]], [[Gold Street (Manhattan)|Gold Street]], and [[Ann Street (Manhattan)|Ann Street]] to Park Row, and also used [[MacDougal Street (Manhattan)|MacDougal Street]], [[8th Street (Manhattan)|8th Street]], [[Greenwich Avenue (Manhattan)|Greenwich Avenue]], and [[12th Street (Manhattan)|12th Street]] rather than part of Bleecker Street.
