Years Absent
Is this collective or since last relegation? It says Burnley have been absent for 20 years, yet they were last relegated in 2010? Yet for QPR it only says 1 year.Gunk 78 (talk) 19:33, 11 May 2014 (UTC)

Should Luton and Notts County be included in this table? They've never played in the premier ship!

If you're including the district of the city they play in then Everton's ground is actually in Walton. 94.194.13.221 (talk) 16:40, 11 December 2010 (UTC)

Clubs to have played in old First Division but not Premier League
There was previously a wikilink to a sub-section on the article for the old first division, with a table of clubs who have played in the old First Division (i.e. when it was the top division), but not the Premier League.

I think this remains useful information, so have dug back in time to get the table. Where to put it though, I don't know. Grunners (talk) 15:32, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

Clubs who have competed in the top flight First Division, but not the Premier League, include:

Huddersfield
Slightly pedantic perhaps (but I've seen it be an issue on other articles) - Huddersfield Town are not yet a Premier League club. The season flips over from one to the next on 1st July. Grunners (talk) 19:58, 29 May 2017 (UTC)

Chart readability
I don't find the colored chart unreadable. A team's bar changes from brown to yellow once it becomes a Champion and remains that way. It's easy to look at each year and see who the member teams are as well as their competitive history. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sjnester (talk • contribs) 04:15, 19 August 2020 (UTC)

First Division + Premier League table
I see there is not a table of all participants to first division until 1992, and not even a summary table of participants to all top flight leagues (first division until 1992 + premier league). I think that would be an interesting statistic, since there is a sportive continuity to these leagues, and in one list we can have all clubs which partecipated to top level in Englad, as we have on Serie A, Bundesliga, Liga Primera Division etc.--Simbadwiki (talk) 06:49, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
Or at least a simple list like this one https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serie_A#Seasons_in_Serie_A --Simbadwiki (talk) 06:52, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
