Once again, Papadapoulos and Gates merely were campaign advisors, and were not federal officers, much less federal officers at the time that they committed their crimes or were convicted. And Flynn was a Democrat until he switched to the GOP in 2021, so he was a Democrat throughout his service in the Trump Administration and when he pled guilty.
