==Description==
''Dianella revoluta'' is a tufted, perennial herb with stems less than {{cvt|15|cm}} long and touching or up to {{cvt|30|cm}} apart. The leaves are folded lengthwise and grass-like, {{cvt|15–85|cm}} long and {{cvt|3–23|mm}} wide. The flowers are blue to violet and are arranged in goupsgroups of two to nine, each flower {{cvt|10–20|mm}} wide on a [[Pedicel (botany)|pedicel]] {{cvt|5–35|mm}} long. The three [[sepal]]s are {{cvt|5.5–10|mm}} long with five to seven veins and the petals {{cvt|5.2–9.5|mm}} long with five veins. The stamen filaments are {{cvt|0.6–2.3|mm}} long and bright yellow, the anthers {{cvt|2.5–4.5|mm}} long and pale brown to almost black.
