Hi UnitedStatesian - I'm trying to clear the COI edit request backlog, and came across a request that involves an article you wrote. You can see some of the background here [[Talk:Cboe_Global_Markets#Request_to_revise_and_expand_the_History_section]], but in a nutshell, [[Chicago Board Options Exchange]] (CBOE) was written in 2005. In 2017, you wrote [[Cboe Global Markets]] (Cboe), and in the edit summary you called it the parent company. A connected editor has come in claiming that they are the same company, and CBOE became Cboe when they went public. If that's the case, from my understanding of preserving attribution history, it would seem to preserve more of the edit history by updating CBOE and redirecting your newer Cboe there, while renaming CBOE to Cboe. I know it's been a while, but I thought you might review to see if you remember why you thought Cboe was a new company. Thanks.
