== Revisiting the improvement of sports stubs ==
Hello! Doing new page patrol for the massive amount of sports biographies has reminded me about the effort to get some of them fleshed out with existent but hard-to-find significant coverage. It's not really my area of expertise, but you've been doing good work toward making that happen. Are we still considering a broader effort to get these cleaned up through an event or drive, or something similar? I'd really like for [[:Category:Sports biographies lacking sources containing significant coverage]] to be cleared, and obviously it would be better to do that through high quality articles over deletion if it's feasible. I still have the format I made [[User:BeanieFan11/Global Sports Cleanup Contest format|here]], though I'd likely make some changes and re-organizing (I think I made scoring too complicated). The main issue was that I'm not sure exactly how to go about starting up a new competition, especially in getting decent participation, etc... I don't have much time right now, but I can think about ways to do it – maybe we could shoot for December or January as a time to hold it?
