The "The" was an integral part of the name. They were named for the ACTUAL Chicago Transit Authority, who you would not mention without "The" in front of either. After all, it is NOT "Chicago Transit Authority", it is "THE Chicago Transit Authority". A nuance, but an important one, and part of why they were sued. Tag: Reverted |
