restore as per WP:PRESERVE. Per WP:BRD, you discuss then make changes, not the other way around. Information is also WP:DUE here, and by the same token you say that it isn't "necessary," so too is it not "necessary" to remove lede material - the lede is a summation of the body, like here. |
