After the destruction of [[Aboriginal Tasmanian]] society by British colonisation and the [[Black War]], the remaining 200 or so Indigenous survivors were rounded up and placed into forced exile at the [[Wybalenna Aboriginal Establishment]] on [[Flinders Island]].
