Chimera. Since when was "Anglo-Irish" defined by blood? By this thinking the most English and British of nationalists today would be, among other descriptions, "Irish-British" or "French-British" or, in the case of Churchill, American-English. But they are not so defined because it is their political and cultural allegiance which matters and therefore they are just "British", etc. Likewise with the Anglo-Irish.
