Panasonic. produced a popular line of bicycles from the 1970s to the mid 1990s (1989 US). They were produced in Japan and exported to the [[United States]]. They were branded as National in Japan, and Panasonic in the US. Konosuke Matsushita grew up with a family who owned a bicycle shop and always had a love and passion toward bicycles. He later on founded the the Panasonic bicycle line. Pansonic bicycles were very well built, and produced in steel, aluminum and titanium. Some of the higher end road models were used in the Tour De France. Panasonic competed with bicycle companies like Fuji, and Motobecane. The bicycles ranged from commuter, road, touring, racing. They were offered in many options, when ordering, such as colors and accessories. Hundreds of Panasonic bicycles are still be ridden today.
