In 2000, the city of Bristol was awarded a plaque and 1:10 scale model of the [[European Space Agency]]'s [[Cluster II (spacecraft)|Cluster II]] mission after one of its residents won a Europe-wide competition.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://sci.esa.int/cluster/27816-bristol-and-cluster-the-link/|title=Bristol and Cluster - the link|publisher=European Space Agency}}</ref> Unfortunately, after many years of not being able to find somewhere to house the model, it was passed to the [[Rutherford Appleton Laboratory]] for exhibition.
