Designed by Sparkman & Stephens Designs [[New York]] ([[USA]]), the world famous yacht design firm, project 1505, ''Corsano II'' for the [[RORC]] 1st class, is a bermudan-rig [[yawl]], sister of ''Stella Polare'' <ref>http://sparkmanstephens.blogspot.it/2011/02/design-1505-corsaro-ii.html</ref>, commissioned by [[Italian Navy|Marina Militare]] to be used as a training ship for the students of the [[Italian Naval Academy]] in [[Livorno]].<br>
