Perhaps also worth mentioning: the infamous "Cretaceous parrot" (as if!), UCMP 143274:

Generic separation of Caenagnathus and Chirostenotes

edit

A new phylogenetic analysis of Coelurosauria (Senter, 2007) places Chirostenotes as a derived oviraptorosaur allied to Elmisaurus, but places Caenagnathus as a more primitive oviraptorosaur. This analysis indicates the generic separation of Caenagnathus and Chirostenotes. Thus, Caenagnathus needs to be placed in a separate article. Furthermore, Elmisaurus elegans is supported as a North American species of Elmisaurus by Senter (2007).
