Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Christianity in Egypt. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. AgisdeSparte (talk) 17:33, 24 June 2024 (UTC)

- I don't agree that it was vandalism, but it was a disruptive edit: it misused the lead section of the article, and it editorialized on the basis of biased sources. - I understand your stance, but having a 2019 estimates isn’t the right thing. I was being as neutral as possible and even mentioned the fact the Coptic Church figures might be inflated for political reasons in the demographics section.
- And regarding the lead section, can you explain to me what I did wrong? I made sure to keep all the templates previously available.

- The issue with the lead section is that you ignored the structure of the existing article in your changes. Please see WP:LEAD--the lead should be a summary of the rest of the article, not a place to introduce novel editorialization. The additional text included concessions and caveats, but overall served to editorialize in favor of Pope Tawadros's views over those of cited RS. signed, Rosguill talk 14:51, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
