Calvin Lo

Calvin Lo is a Hong Kong businessman.[1] He is the CEO of R.E. Lee International [2], a life insurance brokerage firm.[1]

Early life and education

Lo was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada but lived his first nine years in Hong Kong.[3] He received his education at Queen's University in Canada and returned to Hong Kong in 1999.[3]

Career

Lo joined his family business R.E. Lee International, founded in 1954.[4] The firm specializes in life insurance policies for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and businesses.[5] In 2020, Lo had thought about funding a a Formula One (F1) team of his own for 2026.[6]

In July 2023, an investigation by Forbes alleged that Lo had been trying to fake his purported wealth. In their investigation, claims of his association with Dorilton Capital and Williams were debunked as those groups had "no clue who he was".[3]

Lo has served on the Board of Trustees of the Jane Goodall Institute, an NGO that advocates for the welfare of animals, communities, and the environment.[4]
