"Sleep, Dearie, Sleep" is the tenth episode of the sixth season of the Netflix historical television series The Crown. The second Part of the sixth season was released on 14 Decenber 2020.

Plot

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh begin planning their respective funerals. In the scene before the opening credits, The Queen inspects a model of the procession during her state funeral.

The Prince of Wales then asks the Queen that he wants to marry Camilla Parker Bowles. The conversation ended with her saying that she consulted the bishops of the Church of England beforehand. The Archbishop of Canterbury says that the marriage can take place if it takes place in a civil ceremony and a prayer of repentance takes place in the following service in St. George's Chapel. She then asks Prince William and Prince Harry what they think of their father's planned marriage. Prince Harry resisted the suggestion, while Prince William agreed as long as his father was happy. The Queen then informed Prince Charles of the result, who immediately went to Camilla in the garden to finally propose to her. The Queen then asks her bagpiper what kind of lament he finds most beautiful because she is choosing the appropriate music for her funeral. The bagpiper then plays Sleep, Dearie, Sleep at Buckingham Palace.

This is followed by the swastika scandal involving Prince Harry, who chooses a German Afrika Korps uniform in a costume shop and is seen and photographed wearing it at a birthday party.
