Voice of the Young People is the first studio album by young female rapper Lil' Mama. Its current single is Lip Gloss.
Led by the James "Groove" Chambers-produced first single and new anthem “Lip Gloss,” Lil Mama is also working with producers like Swizz Beats, Green Lantern, Dame Grease, Carl Shack and Scram Jones to create an arsenal of powerful songs for her debut album - aptly titled The Voice of the Young People - coming later this year. Lil' Mama has been in and out of various recording studios in New York, Atlanta and Miami and has worked with famed producers like Swizz Beatz and Scott Storch. Her debut album, Voice of The Young People features a wide range of musical and topical issues. Somber songs like "Life" explore a foster child's journey and the hardships of a pregnant teenager.
